I am so glad I attended the BAG update on Thursday night. It was simultaneously illuminating and alarming.  Michael Paag (who did the presentation on the night) is right on top of the situation and now I also understand the breadth of the problem and what is being done.  I would strongly urge everyone to attend the other session.

Michael Paag was a revelation.  Hope you can decant his knowledge into a powerful policy statement and press release/PR campaign.

Just to say that I agree with Babette: 'illuminating and alarming' accurately describes the situation.  It was an excellent overview of the issues, and the BAG committee is doing a very good job.  It certainly inspires one to write more letters to politicians.
